A Guide to Drinkable Water
This book will not only review the different technologies and processes but will help locals understand what solution is best suited given their local resources (power / water)
Prototypes
O'Cleste is already working on 2 prototypes to extract humidity from the ambient air; one with active condensation and one with passive desiccation -
Also in the work is a solar pasteurization unit (household size). Testing begun in June 2015 and is still ongoing as we refine the design
3.4 million of people die every year from water related disease - that is almost the entire city of Los Angeles. However, the atmosphere contains 3,000 cubic miles of fresh water that is waiting to be harvested. Help us make a difference.
Our mission is simple; provide drinkable water to remote locations where basic infrastructures are lacking and water is either scarce or polluted by extracting water from the ambient air or purifying wells and tanks already in place. But we won't stop there, we want to empower women in these regions by providing employment in the making of the water producing devices.
